If you don’t have a multichannel bus, first remove your stereo bus, and then click on Add Bus.

Select a multichannel format (in the example, 7.1 Music was chosen).

Now you can create a project for encoding. If you are starting with an interleaved multichannel

file, start by dropping a single multichannel track on the project. Do this by going to Project >

Add Track > Audio. Then drag your soundfile onto the track (see Figure 6-21).
